Summary

CSTAR focuses on software quality, architecture, reliability, analysis, testing, and repair and related fields. Our main research targets include understanding the software development process, as well as devising advanced techniques on software analysis, testing and debugging, so as to improve software quality.

CSTAR, founded in May 1st, 2015, is affiliated to the School of Computer Science, Wuhan University. We have published over 100 papers in many top-ranked international journal and conferences, including ACM Transactions on Software Engineering Methodology, IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, ICSE, ESEC/FSE, ASE, ISSTA, etc.

CSTAR is currently recruiting self-motivated Master and PhD students who are interested in academic studying. We are also welcoming undergraduate students who want to join our team. Please contact us.

Research Direction

The research interests of CSTAR are based on modern software testing and analysis, including software testing and debugging, software fault analysis, software quality assurance, software architecture analysis, software reliability, program analysis, symbolic execution, search-based software engineering, software data mining, program repair, etc.
